Most likely, you know that Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san is based on a Japanese manga series of the same name. The manga currently contains four volumes, and the latest one was issued on April 10, 2019, right on the eve of the anime premiere. Let's imagine that three volumes were required to produce the first installment. Rimukoro, the manga author, releases three volumes a year.

In such a case, at least one more year is required to produce a television adaptation of these three volumes. Therefore, we most likely will see Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san Season 2 only in April 2021, or closer to this date.

The Doga Kobo studio served as a developer of the television adaptation. Funimation acted as a licensor of the series in North America.
