Power was a success within five seasons. To be honest, it's not clear for us, why STARZ opted to cancel the crime drama after Season 6. If we take a look at the statistics of Power Season 5, we should discover that the season premiere, despite has lost 7.56% of the viewing audience versus its predecessor but garnered much more that the show's pilot episode.

Power Season 5 premiere has drawn 1.554 million viewers with a 0.62 key demo (-20.51%) among adults (P18-49). At the same time, Power S01E01 has garnered only 0.46 million viewers. The viewership was steady for five seasons, and we are sure that the upcoming, sixth round of the series would bring even more viewers.

Also worth noting that Power Season 5 has received the universal acclaim. On Rotten Tomatoes, both critics and viewers have written lots of positive reviews, with a score of 8.8/10 and a 100% approval rating from critics, as well as a score of 4.5/5 and a 90% approval rating among the viewers.

Summing up, we can't realize why STARZ opted to cancel the show. In our opinion, the network should order at least one more season. Sadly, we can't affect the decision made by STARZ. As a result, Power is coming to an end after Season 6.
